Tickets are available online tonight for guaranteed queue jump

Don't forget to come to the 5th installment of crepcity. Sneakerfans, see u there! Expect up to 1000 pairs of sneaks available to swap or buy from some of UKs serious kick collectors and dealers. So if u didnt manage to cop the bordeaux spizikes or the jordan 4 cements then you will definitely find it here.
There will also be about 20 stalls packed with street wear clothing.

The last event i went to in Bar Music hall was the 'Sampled Sale' in dec 2011. I managed to find great Stussy items for a bargain price from £10.

It's a great venue, a bit random, non the less big enough to support racks full of clothes. Great bar and sound system. The only problem is that it will be packed of people, let alone the clothes - so be prepared to weave your way through items and bodies and get sweaty in trying to find what you want.

Btw... Under 14s are free

Peace, love and work it!

Nail Swag 2012

For me, when i go out - every detail counts. We look at the clothes, shoes, hair, make up, jewellery & accesorries but have u paid attention to the nails?

I LOVE NAILS

Your nail is a blank canvas, an accessory waiting to transform to allow u to shous up any out fit. And the best thing about it??? - you can always change the look to suit your style.

You don't need to be a pro, all u need is nail varnish and a creative eye!!!

As u already know, the trends for S/S 2012 are sports chic, cinched at the waist, pastels, geometric, hand painted prints, florals, golds, glitter, mettalics, neon, bold colours, nudes, pinks, turquoise, lilacs,50's etc
So when thinking of the colour palette, pattern and shape of your nail, take inspiration from the current fashion trends.

Here is my take on S/S 2012 nails:

i like a simple elegant look with a touch of quirkiness to project the splash of pattern that will echo throughout spring summer 2012
-Rimmel 420 Aqua Cool
-Barry M 320 Foil Gold special effects

I like the small pattern detail. For my look for the day i can wear a houndstooth print or a purple dress or black and white with gold accessories. Mix n match girls!

LFW 2012 BEGINS!

I know im 24hours late blogging the start of London fashion week for 2012 but ive had a long day... So let me begin by stating the obvious that people all over the world have flocked to the capital city London today.

Im very proud of London talent *applauds*. London have managed to keep their decade long place at LFW, dodging others cities who eagerly try push many countries off schedule.

Not to be repetative about it, but it seems like a re-occurent subject, that if it wernt for the recession, London wouldnt be where it is today.
Take for example the success off the soon to be Olympics 2012, the government funding for Mulberry to open a new factory to provide jobs for locals, the success of Victoria Beckham and the come back of Stella Mc Cartney to her rightfull home LONDON where she will launch her collection (she had for a while, kicked off her collection via Paris fashion week); we are fighting thirsty to keep London 'on the map' more than ever now and by golly are we doing excellent!!!

Ooooooooh!!!!!! Im excited for what my fellow London fashion perps have to offer and also what the bright young stars of the Central St Martins University of the arts have to showcase.
The new generation is what is goin to keep London in fashion week and i think its great that the govermment acknowledges fashion as a catalyst to improve our economy.

I am most looking forward to Stella Mc Cartneys collection because of her recent collab with the London Olympics 2012 and Adidas. I expect to see sports chic, pastels, geometory and neons - what do you think??

Thankyou recession!!! Viva la FASHION

Peace, love and work it!

LadyBird Nail request

I've had a lot of requests on how I do my lady bird nails. Here is a quick tutorial. 4 easy steps. Photos are below description.

1. Paint your nail the colour you want your lady bird to be. My nails were already red.
DRY time <<< very important!

2. Using a nail art pen, get whatever colour you want, as long as its different to the base coat - draw a line downwards from the tip of the nail to the bottom. Make sure its center of the nail then go across with the pen on the tips to ur desired thickness.
DRY<<<

3. get another nail art pen. This will be for the dots, i dot the body of the lady bird and then 2 eyes on the tips
DRY <<<

4. Finish with a clear top coat.

FIN

get creative girls!

Peace, love and work it!

Kate Moss still reigns SUPREME!!!!

Again??! *nods head* .You cannot miss the clever tactics that Supreme have instigated.

Over night the streets of London, Paris and New York have transformed.

There is some seeeerious hype (especially on twitter); by teasing our eyes (Soho - that is for all the London peeps!) with the campaign picture plastered repetitively of the heroin chic, world famous super model Kate Moss. The photo is of her wearing a standard supreme box logo top and her own leopard print jacket, holding a unnecessary fag =/ mehh!

Supreme London is closed, waiting for the spring summer collection for 2012 to drop. It will re-open on Thursday 23rd Feb this gives Supreme fans a lot of time to figure out their plan of action in the hopes of being successful enough to cop 1 of the very limited campaign tees, so be prepared for the enormous queue

One cannot forget her previous collaboration with Supreme. The t-shirt is still sought after and extremely rare, helping eager eBay sellers make HUGE profit:

Supreme have also had collabs with Kermit the frog, Mike Tyson and Ghost Face.

It's a brave move for Supreme to collab again with Kate Moss. One hopes that the hype lives up to the finished product.

Peace, love and work it!

Will you be my Valentine? ❤

Some of u may know that I do hair and beauty. This week I want to have my nails themed around VALENTINES!!!

I want a simple yet statement look for valentines week and of course it has to be sexy. Furthermore, it has to go with my outfits during the week.

step 1..I start with the acrylic application.
step 2..Then I use Misa Nail polish in "valentine red". I do 3 coats - although 2 is enough to cover. I love this valentine red. It's perfect. Not to dark and not to bright. Not too slutty and not too plain.. (If u kno what I mean) It's perfect. leave 1 finger on each hand unpainted. I leave the index out.
step 3... I prep my index for the Minx nail wrap application using a lindt free pad and finishing wipe solution. I choose a houndstooth print to compliment the red - goin for a burlesque 1940s feel.
step 4.. I select the correct Minx foil for my nail size and heat under heat lamp. I apply to my dry, oil free nail and smooth out with an orange stick.
step 5.. I use a crystal file to fit nail shape at a 45degree angle in a downwards motion. A normal emery board will damage the foil,

FIN

So what do u think??? I love them, and I'm not trying to be biased because they're my nails but I think they are lush.

To me they are simple, seductive & make a statement. HAPPY VALENTINES!
Peace, love and work it!

ALL GONE 2011 book signing

the a ALL GONE book signing 2011 @ 5pm @Foot Patrol was an oppurtunity not to be missed.
As i eagerly waited for an hour in the queue in the freezing cold i could just not wait to get my hands on one of these babies
All Gone 20011 by Michael Dupuoy aka LaMJC; is a sort of bible...a dictionary...no *scratches head* basically it is a tribute to street culture and features the best of street cult 2011 that are now ALL GONE!

i purchased the black leopard skin edition rrp£60 one of 600 books or even more so, one of the 25books available at the book signing, and i managed to get the last black one muahahaha! *coughs* there was also yellow leopard skin available in 800 copies rrp£55.

Yep... In this time of economic depression, the price tag burnt a deep hole in my pocket, but I do not feel empty at all ^_^,and that's not because of the tres cool cupcakes that were provided but because I have gained such great understanding of how the street cult has revolutionised within the year. The dramatic downfall in the economy did not stop us when it came to fashion!

The book is great quality and has a nice finish. It features all sorts of street cult 'Most Wanted' items such as tables to trainers.

I would have to say that by far, the item of the year for me of 2011 would most undoubtedly be the Nike Mag Marty McFly 2015 shoes. Purely because of the irony behind a childhood memory becoming a reality "Back to the future", the limited amount of shoes managed to cough up a ridiculous $9.4million for eager bidders.

Kanye West, Kid Cudi and Tinie Tempah are some of the few who managed to cop a pair. Kid cudi was greedy enough to get 4 pairs of the 1500 available through auction via eBay.

The ALL GONE 2011 is a treasure and a lesson within itself. Work with what u got, chase what u want and when u finally have it, u better make sure u work it!

Peace, love and work it!
